General League Rules:
Plaza Oaks members have a first come, first serve right to be members of any team that plays out of the club. However, if there is not a current spot open on an existing team, they may request to be added to the sub list. Plaza Oaks Club dues MUST be paid in full before joining any of the club's tennis teams.
If a player leaves the team during the season for reasons other than personal health or family related health issues, that player may not automatically rejoin the team without approval from the team captain.
Team Captains have discretion in determining player placement, line placement and internal tennis team issues, including dues and/or league fees to be collected.
Plaza Oaks tennis teams must have a MINIMUM of 33% (generally 3-4 players) of Plaza Oaks current members on the team. In the event that a team is unable to fill its roster with Plaza Oaks members, then the captain and co-captain may seek members from other clubs.
Tennis players from other clubs who are NOT Plaza Oaks members must pay a $100 non-member fee to participate on a Plaza Oaks League team. This fee helps cover court costs including maintenance and repairs on all tennis facilities.
All Plaza Oaks tennis teams must first be approved by the tennis coordinator to insure adequate number of Plaza Oaks members and court & space availability.
